On Monday, it was reported that Chicago, Illinois rapper Chief Keef was arrested immediately following a court sentencing related to another arrest last month. While the Glory Boyz/Interscope Records rapper’s lawyer alleged that the June 17 arrest was related to a trespassing charge, details were still pending when Keef was taken in custody from a sidewalk in Skokie, Illinois to a holding cell in the city’s South Side.
Spin has now obtained additional info concerning this week’s apprehension, the rapper’s third in less than one month. Confirming that he was in fact charged with trespassing, Spin adds that Keef was served with a paternity test as he entered the courthouse to face Cook County Circuit Court Judge Earl Hoffenberg. Moments later, the judge would serve Keef with a $531 fine, 60 hours of community service and 18 months of probation. All of this transpired before the Finally Rich rapper was cuffed just blocks away.
The details concerning this new paternity suit are still emerging.
While incarcerated this January, Chief Keef, who is 17 years old, was served with a paternity suit by a junior high-school student in Chicago, who claimed, as an 8th grader, the rapper fathered her daughter.
Kanye’s engineer, Mike Dean, was recently a part of an AMA session on Reddit, where he answered some questions regarding Kanye’s new album Yeezus. Of course everyone was eager to know whether Yeezy will be hitting the road in support of his newest LP and fortunately for Ye’s fans, the answer was yes. So presumably we can expect tour dates in the near future.

CHICAGO POLICE USE EXCESSIVE FORCE ARRESTING CHIEF KEEF
Keith Cozart was arrested this afternoon around 12:30 P.M. after leaving traffic court. The 17 year old rap phenom, Chief Keef, road about 4 blocks from the Skokie Courthouse when his vehicle was pulled over. His manager Rovaun “Dro” Manuel was driving when two unmarked cars cut the vehicle off. Present were Chief Keef, Dro, Mike Starkman, and Ballout. Mike Starkman says six officers armed with AK47’s hopped out of the cars to extract a compliant Cozart. Keith Cozart was arrested on charges of misdemeanor trespassing and taken from Skokie back to the south side to be processed. It is not normal practice for police to come from the south side armed with AK47’s to arrest a person on misdemeanor trespassing charges, but clearly Chief Keef is a special young man that garners special treatment from the Chicago Police Department. Hours later, amidst jovial officers with no sense of urgency, Chief Keef is still being held waiting to be processed. So special they just wanted to keep him around for a little while longer.
